A Better Way to Treat Pelvic Pain

Understanding The PRM Protocol™

The PRM Protocol™ is a proprietary, patented, simple, office-based procedure to treat the symptoms of chronic abdominal pelvic pain by a direct treatment of inflamed pelvic nerves and spastic pelvic muscles which are often the root cause of symptoms.

The PRM Protocol™ treats pelvic pain by:

  • Reversing the inflammatory cascade caused by chronic pain conditions
  • Resetting the pelvic environment for pain-free living
  • Retraining the pelvic floor nerves and muscles for optimal functionality

A treatment so fast, you can do it on your lunch break.

The PRM Protocol™: Ease, Safety, and Efficacy

We know that most pelvic pain patients have suffered for many years with their pain and symptoms, with much of their time spent trying to umderstand their symptoms, meeting with doctors, and trying different treatments. We’re ending this suffering by providing a treament that is easier, safer, and more effective than what they’ve experienced in the past.

NO Downtime - Patients go on with their day directly after treatment

    Less Than 30 Minutes

Ultrasound-Guided - We will never go in blind. We know that guidance should be used for both safety and accuracy as the pelvic nerves and muscles are deep in the pelvis and not visible to the blind eye and there is the risk of injuring pelvic organs, nerve bundles, or vasculature if guidance is not used during a procedure like this.

Office-Based - No need for anesthesia or Fluoroscopy with the PRM Protocol. Therefore, there is no Radiation Exposure with the PRM protocol. We wanted a treatment that was safer, more comfortable, and without the risk of radiation exposure for our patients.

Conditions Treated by the PRM Protocol™

Once a proper diagnosis has been given, we offer a proprietary office-based procedure to treat the symptoms of chronic pelvic pain. Depending on the condition causing your pelvic pain, other modalities may be needed in addition to our treatment.

Understanding Treatment with PRM

How Does the PRM Protocol™ Work?

Our treatment is administered in-office and takes only 30 minutes from start to finish:

  • icon

By using ultrasound guidance, an acupuncture-sized needle is placed externally and directly between the nerves and muscles of the medial buttock.

  • icon

The treatment is then injected directly, allowing space to be created between the nerve and where the nerve flows, creating space and increase blood flow.

  • icon

This starts the process of reducing inflammation, and over the course of the number of treatments you’ll receive, as determined by your pelvic pain specialist, you’ll begin to notice a decrease in your pain, resulting in enhanced overall pelvic floor function.
